For Cypriot citizenship

Two requirements. Greek at B1 level, plus the Cyprus Knowledge exam.

To apply for Cypriot citizenship, you need a Greek language certificate at B1 level and you must pass an exam on the basic elements of the contemporary political and social reality of Cyprus. The 4-hour Cyprus Knowledge programme below prepares you for that exam. If you are not yet at B1, start with the language preparation track up to B1 and progress when ready.

Need to reach B1 first?

You can take a free 30-minute placement call with me, see exactly how many teaching hours you need to reach B1, and pick a package that fits your timeline. Once you reach B1, you move into the Cyprus Knowledge programme.

  • Lessons start at any level, A1 to C2
  • Private or semi-private (bring a friend or partner)

  • Placement call always included free

Common questions

If you are of Greek descent and applying through your Greek heritage, you sit a citizenship interview at the Greek consulate, and the 4-hour Descendants programme is built for that. If you are a foreign national without Greek heritage applying for Greek citizenship through residency, you sit the ΠΕΓΠ exams, and the 40-hour programme is built for that. If you are unsure, send me a message before booking.

Yes. The ΠΕΓΠ programme assumes B1 entry level, because the exam itself is at B1. If you are below B1, start with general Greek lessons until you reach the level, then move into the ΠΕΓΠ prep.

The exam covers the basic elements of the contemporary political and social reality of Cyprus: history, political system, institutions, and society. The 4-hour programme works through these topics with exam-style questions and structured practice.

Online by default, by video call. In-person sessions can be arranged in Limassol on request.

The same as for general lessons. Cancellations or reschedules require 24 hours’ notice. See the Fees and Policies page for full detail.
